Commercial Operator Training Solutions Ltd is designed as a total transport compliance solution and can provide comprehensive training for all operators and drivers of commercial vehicles throughout the UK. This includes LGV and PCV. Training and analysis is centred around, Hauliers, Coach Operators, Builders Merchants, Waste Management Operators, Garden Centres and service companies providing deliveries using commercial vehicles.

The company has two divisons.

To compliment our analysis bureau, C.O.T Solutions primary functions is Driver and Operator Training, through experienced highly qualified trainers we offer a full range of practical and written courses at our premises, with the flexibility of running these courses in-house for our clients. All of the courses cover current legislation changes and comply fully to the new driver CPC (certificate of professional competence) that was introduced into the haulage industry in Sept 2009 and the PCV sector in 2008.

In addition to covering the legislative courses such as drivers hours, analogue and digital tachograph operation and legal construction and use checks (defect system), we also concentrate on general skills and safety, offering fuel improvement training such as SAFED for small teams or large fleets, onsite shunting and safe operation, coupling and uncoupling of trailers, and reversing in different scenarios.

We are an OCR accreditted centre and offer National & International CPC course in preparation for the OCR set exams per year - Please see our Operator CPC pages for further information.

Analysis is carried out using the latest technology at our offices, our team of highly trained operators are regulary updated on any changes in legislation to be able to act as advisors to the operator, as well as providing a detailed analysis service. Mixed fleets can easily be catered for and we can provide a weekly or monthly tachograph analysis service. Focus will be given to those drivers that need addititional training, and full advise and support is at the end of the phone to ensure you comply with the legislation. Collections of your analogue charts can also be arranged on a regular basis. Digital information can be sent securely to our own server for analysis.
