The SMSTS course is designed to cover all relevant legislation to assist in safe working in the building, construction and civil engineering industries. It will help you to gain an understanding of health, safety, welfare and environmental issues and the necessary planning, organising, monitoring and controlling measures to sustain and manage the safety aspects of sta and a workforce on a construction site.
Who Should Attend
Site Managers, Site Supervisors, Project Managers or anyone with on-site managerial responsibilities needs to attain this qualification to enable them to implement safe working for staff
This is a highly interactive course, taught through case studies, classroom discussions, group work and individual or group presentations. There will also be some self-study required outside of the course attendance.
A continuous assessment based on each day of attendance and a final multiple-choice exam.
